Planning that empowers us all

Two Years of Inclusive Financial Planning

When I started Inclusive FP two years ago, I started with a simple premise, make quality financial advice more accessible, and more welcoming. I had a dream to make what’s limited to a select few clients at large institutions available to everyone, in a format that made sense for them.

Little did I know that mission would lead me to where I am today. When you say more accessible, it means opening your doors to everything. All of a sudden financial planning felt like such a bigger topic then I’d ever imagined. The breadth of topics, the nature of challenges, the sheer scale of the questions I’d been asked has challenged me and made me so much better than I’d ever imagined.

Then, I had a light bulb moment, what if we made this even more open, what does it mean to help everyone? Which lead to the realization that entrepreneurs have a lot of trouble getting good advice? Especially when you’re starting or growing a business. Your money is tied up in this big beautiful thing you’ve created, and because of that most advisors don’t know what to do with you. So last year I started working with more entrepreneurs and have grown so much as a planner because of that work.

Which is where we’re at today, as I look toward the future of Inclusive Financial Planning, I see it growing into a one-stop shop for anyone with financial questions, challenges, or dreams. Where you can get the support you need with any issue you can imagine, and help to figure out the questions you haven’t imagined yet.

It’ll take time, but that’s okay, it should take time to build something amazing. Will we continue to do all of the great things we’re doing today? Absolutely, I stand committed to making financial advice more welcoming, more accessible, and better overall for everyone. I want to make that mission bigger. I want to be able to support people in every stage of their life, with every goal and dream they see for themselves. My driving force is to build something for even more people to get the help they want and need.

So as I look back on the last two years I want to thank every one of my clients who have supported me in getting to this point, for your trust and consideration. I wouldn’t be able to be here imagining a bigger future without those of you who tried something new and different. You’ve all helped blaze this trail and create something new and exciting.

Two years from now I hope to be able to look back, and think of all of the new people we’ve worked with, the clients we’ve helped grow, and imagine that next step in this journey.

With humbling sincerity, thank you all.
